When I was little, school field trips and Brownie meetings meant one thing, light refreshments! There seemed to be two different kinds of drinks that were served to us thanks to the graciousness of parents and it was either off-tasting Kool-Aid or this watered down orange juice-like drink you could purchase locally. While generous of the parents to bring, it wasn’t the most delightful drinks although us kids would chug it down. There are so many wonderful and natural products available on the market now that it sometimes can be hard to choose. I’ll give you a hint what to look for when trying to find any drinks for children that is not water or milk, get fresh organic fruit juices without any added sweeteners. There is one company that has been providing organic fruit juice with nothing else added since 1998 and that is a company called Honest Kids.
While many natural juice drink companies still add cane sugar to their fruit juices as a natural sweetener, Honest Kids has removed all added sugar from their juice drinks. It’s true! The ingredients are basically just organic juice and filtered water. Available in handy-dandy pouches that are simple to use and taste great make this a healthy alternative to other children’s drinks on the market. They come in a variety of flavors (my oldest’ daughter’s favorite is the Lemonade while my youngest likes the apple juice) and you can even purchase variety packs which is perfect for a school refreshment or after-school event. Honest Kids are available in most supermarkets and you can find some great prime online deals through Amazon.com. This is a fantastic and healthy treat for kids and it is honestly refreshing.
