Mealtime during the week usually starts off in a very similar way. Bob and the girls burst through the front door after work and school and run to the kitchen table. I am usually in a state of trying to dish out food while baby Brie is saying, “Up! Up!” and lifting her arms in the air to be put in her high chair, Brooke is talking and asking questions about a million different things and Bob is trying to pour himself a glass of iced tea. It is quite a mad house. By the time I get Brie’s food cut up in bite sized portions and drinks all poured, I sit back down in my seat to food that is getting cold. It seems that no matter how much I prepare or prep, I’m not shaving any time off my ‘warm food to mouth’ ratio.
