The Milo Slouch Shorts (Children’s Fashion)

Chaboukie Handmade in Northeast LA

While my oldest daughter and I don’t have a set nickname, my husband and youngest daughter seem to be called everything but their given name.  Yes, Brie already sounds like a nickname, yet we have started the trend of calling her things like Breezy, Peasy, Peasers and Breeze.  Brooke has even more nicknames for her little sis and she lovingly makes up more all the time.  That is exactly how the company Chaboukie crafted their clothing line’s name, after their son, Auden.

Here’s how Auden’s nicknames became a company’s clothing line;

Bug > Bugaboo > Boo > Bouks > Chaboukie

Pretty great, right?

Auden’s mom started this company with her husband by making homemade pieces that were cute and comfortable for her little guy and her friends and family began to ask for her products.  Her 80s and early 90s inspired ensembles has grown to include the fantastic baby “hammer’ pants inspired by the pop-rapper M.C. Hammer.  And anyone who grew up during that time frame more than likely sported a pair, and they can now buy these slouchy leggings just for their kiddos.

The Milo (named after the company’s first baby model) are stretchy, comfy jersey knit pants that feel and look so comfortable for those little people.  The ribbed cuffs add the perfect accent to this original Chaboukie pattern.  While the 80s fashion trend has been kicking into high gear for the fashion industry, it is not lost to the youngest generation!  The Milo slouch shorts are roomy yet have seams surged for added durability, and have the fabric pre-washed before being sewn.  Handmade right in Mount Washington, these 100% rayon jersey shorts go with everything and will soon become a staple in your child’s wardrobe.  STOP.  It’s Hammer Time!

FullSizeRender (16)  Brie is in her ‘no paparazzi‘ phase, but she loves her slouch shorts and I captured a picture of her in them without her knowing!  Ha.

Goes well with: “Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer or “Poison” by Biv Bev DeVoe
