Little Feet Love Rileyroos!
One of the biggest things I look forward to every year is sandal weather. I now live in Austin, Texas which is quite a different seasonal weather pattern than I was used to growing up in SE Ohio. While I am usually cursing the 100 degree+ weather in mid-July, I love how the temperature seems to flip a switch to – what feels like- a mild ‘summer’ by the end of March. Yes!
Now while it is tempting to walk around in bare feet, the scratchy grass and fire ants are a huge reason to keep your feet protected in the hot weather. This year I have four additional feet to worry about – Brooke and Brie – so I was looking for some kid sandals. Brie is at that crazy toddler age where she is constantly running to nowhere in particular and needs some nice padding to protect her ‘tootsies’. I was looking for cute, cost-effective and something that would last all summer.
Enter Rileyroos Carley shoes.
I love Rileryroos’s Carley shoes that looks like a ballet-sandal for little kids. This has become a staple to Brie’s wardrobe and the light pink/blush color with an adorable floral accent goes with most of her outfits. The sandals have a flexible criss-cross strap, so they are really easy to get on when her little feet are pumping to go. The shoes are designed to imitate barefoot walking and have a nice flexible leather sole with a sole curl about the toes to make an easy transition from sitting to walking. The rubber padding is fantastic and the outsoles are form fitting. Brie is ready for the summer in her Carley Rileyroos and I can now check off another thing on my long ‘to do’ list.
