An invasion of story and song!

Having a toddler in the house is sort of like having a tiny destroyer of all material things. I have stopped trying to clean while Brie is up and there are times Bob will take the girls out of the house just so I can get the place looking nice. If there is one thing I’ve learned as a parent to two little people, it is you have to either get used to the mess or go to great lengths at keeping things tidy. We have sort of fell in the middle and, more often than not, embrace the chaos. That is exactly what Keith Munslow has embraced in his new album; the chaos of a family living together under one roof and one that resonates with us!

Keith Munslow is a multiple award-winning songwriter, storyteller, cartoonist and improv comedy performer that is also a parent. His latest album has wonderful family songs from different perspectives with comedic effect. Babies smelling coffee breath to fighting for the last chicken wing – let’s face us – we American families are a sitcom waiting to happen. If there is one thing I have a lot of now, is empathy for BOTH parents and kids. Really, the grass is no greener on either side of the fence, which is why us families need to love each other and stick together. It’s great to find humor we can all relate to and it is wonderful to find music for all of us.
