Soothie Suckers Nasal Support

Soothie Suckers Nasal Support Ice Pops are blended in a base of Echnacea and Astragalus with additional herbs for upper respiratory support

Is it just me or did medicine actually taste like medicine when you were little?  I don’t think I ever had an option of taking vitamins or herbs in a lollipop, gummy – or wait?  A grape freezable pop?  Wow.  It is hard to believe that something that is a frozen treat could actually promote heath, but that is exactly what mom of five, Marietta Harrison, has created.  Her Soothie Suckers in either Immune or Nasal Support pops and, due to our family’s allergies that seem to span three out of four seasons, I had to pick the one for the nose.

With both our girls starting preschool and daycare this year, we have seen our share of sickness.  In fact, I think this is probably the most sick I’ve ever been in my life, too!  However, while colds are being passed around, Bob and the girls have an extra layer of sickness to add to it – seasonal allergies.  It is like I live in the middle of a snot and mucus minefield.  What I love about Soothie Suckers is that by providing an herbal blend that provides a way to boost the body’s ability to detoxify and support the immune system, I feel that we are taking on the dreaded allergies before they have a change to fight.  The all natural Nasal Support pops contain an herbal and root combination of Echinacea, Astragalus Root, Pleurisy Root, Pau d’ Arco (Taheebo) and Goldenseal.

I so wish I knew about these suckers before the start of this year’s allergy season, so we were already mid-allergy sickness when Brooke started using it (Brie is too young for the 2+ age recommendation.)  Of course, she did not mind the frozen pop and she asked me twice while eating it if it was really medicine.  Ha.  I like the fact that the pop is only about the quarter of the size of a normal frozen ice treat and it is a great thing to give her after dinner.  She now asks for it – by name – and I have to say that I have noticed a difference in her using less and less tissues for her nose.  It can’t be by coincidence since baby Brie is still having the whole nose/faucet thing.  I think that is I start this before allergy season next year, I should be able to save on all the medications and treatments we have been using!  It is nice to know that you can protect little ones who need that extra immunity from nasal support in a fun and natural way.
