With two little kids in our household and two full-time working parents, my idea of making the house look nice is clearing a path from the family room to the kitchen. Ha. There is something about SPRING that does scream ‘cleaning’, though and since our kitchen is the most used room in the house, it is really refreshing to give it an annual update. Something clean, effortless to keep up with and a great way to make our guests feel comfortable in our very active and kid-friendly household.
Bargello Citron is such a crisp pretty lime green color and pattern in Hen House Linens collection that is perfect for the new spring weather. Funny how a new potholder can freshen up a kitchen (I had to leave our oven glove beside it to show the difference!)

Hen House Linens are made to be used in our normal daily lives and are 100% cotton to always look great and wash easily. Yup, no ironing required (Beat that, old placemats!) So our normal pattern of eat. spill. enjoy. wash. repeat. holds up with our linens while still maintaining an almost ‘fancy’ and beautiful look in our kitchen. I also appreciate designs like their extra large casserole potholders since we do a lot of large portion meals, especially when we have guests or need a dish that will last a day or two (or even three, you know how that goes..).
