Pete the Cat: Rock On, Mom and Dad! (Paperback)

Both of my girls la-la-love Pete the Cat books. In fact, baby Brie will say ‘read’ (which adorably sounds like ‘weed’), grab a Pete book then “MEOW!” like a cat. It makes her older sis, Brooke, laugh like crazy. It is really hard to pick our favorite Pete book although Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons is usually a regular request. But, I have to say that the newest paperback about Pete is giving Groovy Buttons a rival.

In James Dean’s latest Pete the Cat book, Pete wants to do something special for Mom and Dad. He realizes his parents do so many nice things for him and tries to think of special surprise. Pete’s big brother, Bob, makes an awesome appearance much to our girls’ delight to give Pete some good advice. Pete learns that the best way to say thank you is to mean it and his parents will dig it. What better way to show them but by rocking out in the way only PTC (Pete the Cat – ha) can do? The paperback also includes stickers, cards, and a poster that is now on Brooke’s wall. Meow, indeed!
