Juggling is an engaging tool, it grows your brain! It helps in school!
My brain feels scattered a lot of the time, so I love doing activities that give me focus. I also find it helps my kiddos when we learn and do these fun things together. The first time my oldest walked on stilts I almost cried from being so proud. She loves to try and learn new things and that is SO exciting. Brooke has dubbed herself ‘The Fantastic Brooke’ when she does ‘tricks’ and juggling is just another awesome tool in her arsenal of coolness. Yup, she is SUPER cool.
See, I can’t juggle. I mean, not well. I can juggle with scarves just great, but these sweetly embroidered velvet juggling balls are not the same. I try and fail. So, how can a preschooler do it? PRACTICE. Sure, the age says 7+, but don’t be fooled. I’m way over that and still can’t do it (sigh!) and she’s younger and already starting to make progress. Who knew?
So – how do you juggle? The set comes with an instructional poster for some hints and the key seems to be to always have one ball in the air as you go.
They make it look so easy!
