A matching game for future astronauts, terraformers & near space tourists
I’ve had a rough time with my own memory and chronic pain over the last year and realize the importance of recollection especially in children who are learning new and COOL things. Brooke has always been fascinated by the planets and our galaxy and how our moon works with our earth. I suppose it is something we like to talk about together, especially as we look up at the sky and her very first ‘camp’ for kids focused on the universe. That was what she wanted and someday I see a more advanced space camp in her future.
For now, games like MMRY:Moons & Planets not only contains 46 amazing moon and planet image tiles (think of some very awesome coasters) with guide book that talks in more detail about each tile. My little terraformer loves to match and do memory games and the added bonus of LEARNING about our moons and planets is super fun. We get to learn and grow together and talk about things like DARK MATTER (ohhhh!) and how our moon circles our Earth and other planets. It is fun and it is interesting to realize how little we do understand about our galaxy and space while still having so much knowledge of what exists ‘out there’.
