More Laugh-Out-Loud Jokes for Kids (Paperback)

I use humor a lot to offset any ‘bad’ things going on my life. My family nicknamed me ‘Jeanna the Jokester’ at an early age because I like to laugh and make others laugh. I memorized kid joke books and I haven’t stopped. Luckily, the Momma’s Bacon family is filled with love and laughter and my kiddos (especially Brooke) have followed that path. Like one of Brooke’s favorite book characters, Pete the Cat, says, “It’s all good!”

I admit sometimes it is not ‘all good’, but we try to maintain that atmosphere of learning, trying and making each other laugh. I still remember Brooke’s first joke.

Q: Why is 6 afraid of 7?

A: Because 7 ate (8) 9.

She laughed until she almost cried she thought it was so funny. So did we! Her ability to tell jokes at such a young age is important. She weathers life’s ups and downs through laughter and I hope I was a part of that.  It also helps with her own well being and socialization.
