Did you know my maiden name means “Wandering Trader”. Of course you wouldn’t! But, it does. Known as some of the first traders and trappers to today’s global online marketplace ‘business is the glue that holds our world together’. Entrepreneurship. Creating your own destiny. It’s what holds our world together. How do you encourage your child ‘to do’ instead of doing what they are just told to do?
There is a certain quote which I am too pressed for time to look up, but it says something like……opportunity meets PREPARATION (Zig Zigler, right? I actually had a chance to see him before he passed). Opportunity. Well, that comes from where we came from but also with an inner DRIVE to where we want to go. The willingness to KEEP ON MOVING FORWARD. Opportunity. Well, that, my friends, is sometimes ability, but sometimes not. It’s cool that books like this help children to create, to strategize and to learn HOW to problem solve in the business world.
