So, there were children’s movies I could have watched in the 80s and they were actually considered QUITE POPULAR TV specials; but I mean, really, how many people had Showtime? Oh. Maybe more than I realized. Well, the cool thing is that Paul Fusco’s TV specials – not seen since their original Showtime Network debut – now have a unique chance for families and children to discover them again for the first time! I have to say, the first release was a REAL gem. In Santa’s Magic Toybag, Paul Fusco created an entire original holiday soundtrack and all the puppettering. It brought back loving memories of my own childhood watching Christmas cartoons with my family. Awwwww. It’s funny how we know the names of those like Jim Henson, but have somehow forgotten (or not known) of Paul Fusco’s talents. It’s neat that those who are like me get to discover it for the first time.
