Stocking Stuffer ideas in NOVEMBER?!? YES! If you are like my family, we have to plan and coordinate a lot to make ends meet. I pick up little things throughout the year (and sometimes BIG things that are hard to fit in closets – sorry Bob!) and it HELPS. Yes, it’s ‘early’ for some people to shop, but I’m a ‘pay as you go’ mind in a ‘hard to make ends meet on one income’ family at this moment in time. My pay days are literally marked on my calendar – as if I could forget when I get my money! HA! But, I digress…..

What are you doing? Put those hands down or people will think you are nuts! If you DID raise your hand (even just mentally) then I’m with you! I heart maps. I have them EVERYWHERE. When Brooke asks where a place is located, I just take her to our MANY, MANY maps and show her. She’s particularly interested in the U.S. of A states since her grandparents live far from Texas. Quick little cute thing Brooke said, “Mom, we’ll just take our car and drive to Ohio and then to Argentina (where Papa is currently living.)” Adorable.
So maps are our friends and the super cool portable and very flexible kid’s map of the USA is perfect for our family. For one thing, we have a teething baby, so I warn everyone that if you don’t want your stuff chewed on than leave it out of baby Brie’s reach! “I can’t be held responsible for chewed items” should be displayed as a warning sign on my house.…so, this product is great. It’s teething-free so it is perfect for our older kids who don’t want babies chewing up their items. The last thing I need to hear is, “The BABY ate my ______well, you fill in the blank”! Love.
