Healthy snacks and lunches are just a few of the new things that are important in our school systems since I went to school. In Appalachia, we had a free hot lunch until I was nine and it was filled with high fat and deep fried goodness. My favorite day was corn dog day. No more, it seems, and that is probably for the better. After all, growing bodies need good food!
The trick for us has been food STORAGE. We want Brooke’s lunches to be FRESH, contained and, sure, FUN! Hutzler has a great selection of snack attack and dip to go serving sets we just love.
