When Brooke first started in a pre-K program I had to learn all the rules and regulations of preschool. I was really shocked when Brooke came home one day, in her extra jeans, with her pants unsnapped! What? Oh, they won’t snap your child’s pants in this pre-K program? Really? Brooke was a decent enough snapper, but for some reason, she left her snap open and said the ‘teacher wouldn’t help her’. I found out later it was because they couldn’t (some regulation and the type of pre-K program…) I felt so bad for her! Not cool!
Brooke loves to do things ‘all by myself’ but certain things can still be a struggle for a preschooler. Jackets for one! Some days she gets her jacket on totally fine and other days her head is stuck out of a random sleeve and she calls for help. Ha!
