Learning and Connecting Through Play.
My husband is a grill and BBQ master. Before him, I didn’t know the difference! Oh, silly Yankee, I suppose. We call things BBQ that are really just grilled and don’t even get me started on things like a smoker and special pits. We live in BBQ central and while I have sampled foods from all over, Texas BBQ and grilled meats are my favorite by far.
Our cookouts are FAMOUS among our friends and Brooke has been playing BBQ master and learning how to grill (through the watchful eyes of her parents) for quite some time. I saw SimplyFun’s new Grill Party Game and I knew she would love it. Yes, it is slightly over her age range, but we made it work and had a fabulous time! So, let me tell you more….

Our Take:
This game is QUICK and fun as players swap Grill Food Pieces to create ‘situations’ on the grill. It is important to match your grill food cards to food items on your grill. In fact, the first player to match all of the Grill Food Cards to the grill is dubbed the Grill Master! It was hilarious! I did a few rule ‘modifications’ so our preschooler, Ms. Brookesy, could play (cards turned up, etc.) and it was scrumptiously fun. Or should I say ‘Simply Fun’!
