I have very sensitive skin and I have very fair skin living in Austin, TX so it is important for me as a mom to be protected but I don’t have time for a large beauty regimen. But guess what? I found a product PERFECT for busy moms that fits in an anti-aging lotion, sunscreen and tinted moisturizer with something called ‘pigment’ spheres that self-adjust to match all skin tones. Did I mention it is all natural?

Solar Defense does not contain toxic materials and is paraben-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free and not tested on animals. The active ingredients are the minerals zinc and titanium oxide along with other plant-based materials. Solar Defense contains a moisture-binding peptide, which helps keep skin evenly hydrated but shine-free, and peptides are simply short chains of amino acids, a.k.a “protein fragments.”

How to Use:

Simple! Just apply daily to face before makeup and 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours after swimming, perspiring, or after towel drying.

My Review? I was very impressed with Solar Defense as a sun block (it contains SPF 30, broad spectrum) and that it made my face look REFRESHED. Ahhhhh! How often can you say that in Austin in August? I have very light skin and the protein fragments really do keep your skin hydrated. No applying every two seconds like I had been doing with my aloe, sun block and skin tinter (if I had time…) I love that it does not give off a chemical smell and I plan to use this year round!
