This book explores Amanda and Alfred’s first day at Zoo School (which is strikingly similar to people school – ha ha) and how they become ‘best friends’. Here’s a hint: Alfred the Alligator is super shy and wants to be left alone. Amanda the Panda is, well, ENERGETIC and LOUD. Is this a match for a friendship?
We LOVE this book, especially for my preschooler who is learning how to interact with others in a classroom environment. She reminds me of Amanda the Panda and it was a great reminder that friends ‘collaborate’ and real friends do not boss each other around. Awesome story!
