I sit in waiting rooms A LOT these days for various doctor’s appointments and this song usually runs through my head. I am a fan of Fugazi (I met Ian and Guy after a show at The Newport in Columbus as a teen) and this song always resonates with me. Why? I am NOT a patient girl! I try. I have my cell on me or a book but I can see that those things DO NOT work for a preschooler. Ahhh, too bad.

Well, it’s still summer and a lot of kids have to WAIT. Wait in the car, wait in the airport, wait in line at parks. Yup. And if your kid is hyper, meltdowns will ensue unless you have some controls in place. What works for Brooke is activity books and these wonderfully FUN totes from Peaceable Kingdom.
