Scented Strong & Lasting Long….Naturally
I have always loved candles. My hippie dippie mom always had some incense or candle going when I was a kid, so I guess it just stuck with me. It makes me happy to smell the smell of candles burning. It reminds me of Christmas and just general pleasantness. Yet, I couldn’t tell you much about what type of candle I was burning before since I just looked at the price. Ha! It wasn’t until Bob brought me back this deliciously aromatic soy candle from a trip to Seattle (pre-kid days) that I was like, ‘what is this and where has this been all my life?” Admittedly, I never paid much for my candles before that and this gift was during my pre-all natural healthy living approach I strive to maintain now. So, it was new! It was awesome! It was…..blog worthy many years before I had Momma’s Bacon!
Now my daughters are quite aware of the ever present soy candles in our house that freshen up our rooms and are strategically placed high above their reach.
And I am not one of those people that have a low tolerance for smells – I like strong smelling soy candles. I also enjoy candles scents that mesh well with my use of aromatherapy essential oils to create a mood of calm within our hectic household. Have I got a great one for you, candle lovers –

What are essential oils? They are all-natural fragrant compounds found in all different parts of the plant and used for medicinal and therapeutic benefits throughout our history. I use them as mood enhancers in our house. Mineral Springs not only has a strong scent that makes our house the perfect dose of aroma, it is also great for the mood of CALM. Yes, Calm with a Capital C.
