I used to be known as “Jeanna the Jokester” a funny nickname my friends and family gave me while growing up.  I love to laugh and I love to have fun – BUT, not at the expense of others.  I was a shy child and in seventh grade I had a ‘jokester’ in my class who pushed things too far.  He told me later it was because he liked me, but at the time, it was tough!  He told my teacher that I thought she was fat (she was pregnant at the time) and always pretended I was copying off him.  Even though I never did or said any of those things, people have a tendency to believe the loudest and squeakiest wheel if you don’t have adult leadership.  So, when I saw the title of this book, I assumed it was about bulling.  It is NOT!

Flip and Fin: We Rule the School is about two twin sand sharks who love to have fun and tell jokes that are fun for everyone.  It was – refreshing to read!  We had a great time reading this fun and hilarious book.  The jokes are age appropriate and Brooke laughed all through it.  So are you ready to  ‘show your mussels’ with Flip and Fin?!
