That Guy! Tie Me Up – Adjustable Lassos‏ (Safety)

Is there something programmed into our brains at birth to go after flashy lights and power cords? My almost 9-month old is into EVERYTHING. We baby-proofed and gated. We covered plugs and locked cabinets.

And Brie STILL goes after my laptop cords as if they were gold. Or a yogurt drop. You know, baby priorities….

And, I’m on my laptop A LOT. So, the struggle to keep her chunky baby hands off my dangerous cords is endless. So, what to do? What to do? As you probably know by now, I like practical yet whimsy. I like to laugh. and I found something called That Guy! by this hilarious company that also had something they call ‘adjustable lassos’. Or….cord ties. I laughed and said, Yes, please!

And it helps! It does stop Brie from trying to go for her special black cords she thinks are magic, but there is less of it and they are now neatly tied back out of reach. So yeah for technology and yeah for safety. And yeah for That Guy!
