My oldest daughter LOVES the outdoors for two main reasons; flowers and trees. It has gotten to the point where she is asking about types of wildflowers (which are BEAUTIFUL this time of year) and I had to keep looking them up on the internet for images to teach her more. I’m not a native Texan, so some of these things are new to me, too! So, after a million searches, I thought, there has to be an easier way to teach her about the native and naturalized plants of Texas all in one book. I FOUND IT!

We have learned so much from this book (like did you know wildflowers are arranged by color for identification?) that this handy guide will be used in our household for years!
