Lullabies and Songs of Comfort.  Out June 10th!

Two friends who happen to be musicians and moms celebrate motherhood in this lovely new album.  What really got me pumped to hear this album was the circumstances surrounding the topic of this album; motherhood and fertility issues.  If you are a reader of mine, you know I have suffered a miscarriage and did not think we could get pregnant again.  Well, surprise and happy news for both myself and Edie Carey, since we both we able to add children into our lives after a long waiting game.  Sarah and Edie set to work to create this wonderful Lullaby album that is both a beautiful and delicate tribute to parenthood that is wonderful for people of all ages.  Hug your kids tight, tonight, my lovely readers!

P.S. This is an album with songs of comfort, but I found myself getting a little emotional at certain times, so please keep that in mind, especially if you just had a miscarriage or similar tragedy recently or have an anniversary date coming right up.  I did find the song ‘Now The Day is Over’ very comforting during the time, though, since it reminded me of songs in an a cappella church my grandma attends.
