Perfect for Father’s Day!  Father’s Day 2014 is on June 15, 2014!

As a family with a Stay at Home Dad, I used to be almost fanatic about finding children’s books with positive male role models and fathers.  I’ve settled down a bit – ha!- plus there are so many great ones out there nowadays, it isn’t hard to find a perfect example.  Well, I have one for you!

Not only that, but we were also excited because 1. This story incorporates Spanish throughout which is a language we are concentrating on this year and 2. It is just in time for Father’s Day!  The story itself is simple – a father and son hanging out together.  It is lovely and sweet and you get to see a connection between a child and their father as well as learning some new basic Spanish words.  We definitely recommend!
