Eric Herman Returns to the Kid’s Music Scene with his First Release in Six Years!
I have been reviewing children’s music specifically for four years so Eric Herman’s contribution to the children’s music scene was something I had to research before reviewing this album. It sounded impressive by his musical guests alone and has a wonderful musical past including Parents’ Choice, The John Lennon Songwriting Competition winner, and the Pearl Awards to just name a few made me intrigued! I had to check it out for myself and Brooke!
Musical Guests: Didipop, The Recess Monkeys and Chris Ballew of Casper Babypants are all musical guests on this album. Eric also includes members from his other band, Thunder Puppies, who all make musical contributions on Party Animal. WOW!

How did we like this album? This is not a one musical genre album. It encompasses everything from funk to pop. As Eric Herman has been quoted, “As a kid, you are open to all kinds of sounds……..it’s always good to open up again to a variety of music.” I totally agree and so does my oldest daughter Brooke. There are tons of danceable music for kids and it was fun to open Brooke up to some modern funk tunes. Great album that I (ok-we) recommend for families!
