I was one of those people who did not wear make-up until I was in my twenties. I hung out with mostly guys and frankly cared more about making music than I did about looking cute. A few decades later and a lot has changed yet when I do wear make-up I am very interested in trying to put the purest stuff on my body.  That used to mean that I would tend to have trouble finding make-up that I loved that still worked.  Until…..

You hear it all the time, and sometimes it is true depending on what you use, it’s almost like nature made it so that stuff that is natural isn’t as effective. However, I think most people do not do a ton of research *ahem, this is where my love of research comes in* to find products that work but do not include HARMFUL TOXINS. Yes, my readers, up to 60% of the stuff you put on your body is ABSORBED through your skin into your bloodstream. If you wear make-up, it is better to go as natural or, in this case, as 100% pure as possible (this company makes dried fruit make-up!)  I know I wanted to give it a shot and I think if you do, too, you may just love Pure Cosmetics as much as I do.

I love when products do double duty. I like using both lip and cheek tint in a faint tint (I’m not one for bold lip and cheek colors.) My favorite lip and cheek tint flavor is Pink Grapefruit Glow and I think it is because I love the scent of citrus since it makes me feel awake. Great for parents with babies! Not excited by grapefruit scent?  Try cocoa berry or peach.
