Crocodile Dentist Game (Age 3+)
Poor old croc has a tooth that’s bothering him; pretend to be a Dentist to help him out. Press the wrong tooth and he’ll surprise you.
I spend a lot of time after work playing with my kiddos and sometimes it is nice to just have a simple and fun game to pass the time with my preschooler. Crocodile Dentist is just the ticket!
Crocodile Dentist is a simple plastic crocodile toy with bottom teeth that you can push down. You reset the game by pulling back on the croc’s top jaw and the game ends when a certain random tooth is pushed. Players (up to four!) take turns by pushing one tooth down and the game ends when the croc’s jaw snaps down. Ouch! You will jump! Brooke loves the anticipation of the game and always squeals when the crocodile bites. It is great at teaching ‘turns’ when playing with a little one and we have even snuck in a few dental care talks (the croc has top braces, which was also fun to talk to Brooke about!)
Make sure your child does not stick their entire hand in the croc’s mouth when playing or the crocodile jaw may not chomp down. We have also had a few problems with the way the game resets and had a few “Oh, I guess the crocodile does not have any hurt teeth!” moments when all the teeth pushed down with no loser. We always get the game to start working again by a few crocodile jaw pumps and it has lasted and been so much fun when we just want a simple giggle that we still love it.
