Have you ever played ‘Kick the Can’ with your cousins in the darkness outside with just fireflies to light your way? That is a happy memory. There is something really special about things that glow in the dark that makes me feel good. Dimly lit restaurants with candles or Christmas tree lights on a snowy night are like small slices of heaven. Sigh. My oldest daughter loves to have light up things in her room at night, too; a small flashlight, a light up moon and even a book that glows in the dark (Scaredy Squirrel At Night.) Now she has Haley the Night Buddy!
Night Buddies are cute plush toys that light up when you squeeze them. They have a special patented eye illumination that is supposed to help promote security, peace and joy to a child at night. I love the background story of the creator and her family, Sally Connolly. She started the Night Buddies Company in 2004 to show her two sons, Austin and Wes, that they could follow their dreams. Love. The Night Buddies Company has blossomed into quite a family affair with Wes helping do promotions and Austin doing Night Buddies designs. Impressive. This is a great product with a wonderful background and we have one happy child. Check, check and check.
