I have no secrets to potty training although cute underwear definitely helped my oldest kiddo! My oldest daughter loves her ‘big girl underwear’ especially ones with different animals. She actually looks forward to wearing them and that does make life easier. Well, lucky us, Bob and I get to go through the entire potty training experience yet again with our youngest daughter so I keep my eyes peeled for new and cute underwear to sweeten the deal (and, hopefully, books and coloring books to use on the potty will help my youngest want to master going on the commode, too.)
Baba and Boo is a UK Company with an adorable line of training underwear for kids. The training pants come in sizes 18-24 months or 2-3 years. The underwear is super absorbent with a waterproof lining but it is still great for teaching the child that they will get wet if they do not go to the potty but things do not become a sopping mess like the thin undies when an accident occurs. If your child is anything like mine, they will want to keep their cool underwear dry which seems to be the entire point of the potty training process since the ball is in the child’s court.
