Big Ideas for Little Passengers
Planning ahead (potentially) keeps our house running smoothly. I am the king of planning! From stocking up on toilet paper to packing lunches the night before to getting birthday cards for the month, I like to pre-plan ahead so I can budget, leave little to chance and I can help get my husband and kids out the door in a timely manner. Sound familiar? I have very little time for messing with car seat straps half asleep and it is one of the most annoying things about the morning. Now there is much less hassle in the mornings for us.
I now set up a clamp-like contraption called Buggy Buttons that adjust our baby’s car seat straps to fit over her arms ahead of time to easily set Brie in her car seat and just lift, tighten and buckle her seat in no time. The great thing about the Buggy Buttons is that the Velcro-attached plush toys stay on the car seat buttons all the time and give my baby something to look at and reach for while in her seat. The ease of the device that shaves off time and – much bigger point- frustration with car seat adjustments with a wiggly baby has been a really nice change. The device can be used in car seats and strollers to help make getting your baby into and out of their seats in a much more enjoyable experience. Especially in the dark morning hours when (IMO) no one should be up!
