Let’s get this embarrassing fact out of the way. I had two bird nicknames growing up. First was Tweety Bird. I had big blue eyes and a large head with a small body (I was a preemie). Thanks to my parents, this one has stuck. I am not so fond of it! Second was My Little Chickadee.
I grew to love My Little Chickadee because my great Aunt Flossie gave it to me and she was everything that was fabulous. She was a sweet lady with no kids and pretty much adopted all of her great nieces and nephews as her own. She was fun. When I hear Chickadee, I immediately think of her in her cool apartment with jewelry, make-up and play things for all of us to discover. It was so exciting! She was my idea of what it meant to be a lady, little handbag and all.
My Chickadee is a mom-designed USA-made company that creates mini-clutch purses for the ultimate trendy handbag design for kids. Quite fantastic! My Chickadee has a new line-up of spring fabric that you just have to see to believe. Quite breezy and flow-y. The mini clutches are adorable and functional and are cool enough for both dress-up for younger children or even for a teen’s go-to bag. The folded clutch has a nice sized shoulder strap, generous pockets with easy-to-close hooks and loops. The My Chickadee signature looks fancy and sweet, just what Brooke loves for dress-up. It is so cute to see her say she has to grab her purse before we go out. The clutch can be filled up to 2 inches so she can collect rocks while out, too! Luckily, we have found that the clutch is machine washable (hang dry) and is quite easy to clean.
