Cleverly Designed Color-By-Numbers Bib Turns your Child’s Messes into Masterpieces

Here I thought we were doing awesome by finger painting with Brooke starting at six months!  Apparently ‘bib art’, the cool activity among early eaters, has proven me wrong!  I ran across this adorable product when checking out the cute-as-heck website called Baby Smyles.  In fact, I even got to correspond with website owner, Myles (say it with me – awww!  Myles – Baby sMyles – get it?) to learn more.  Myles and his wife, Whitney, run the business (Myles’ parents started the company back in 1987) that was started with an idea to sell cute, stylish and functional bibs.  Their website has SO many cool baby products and the da Vinci Mona Lisa bib by Mustard really caught my attention.

The Stained by Numbers Bib is made from 100% cotton and machine washable.  The outline of the famous Mona Lisa painting has no coloring so that your baby’s mushy food becomes perfect paint for the bib.  It’s hilarious, it’s sweet, and yes, it is art!  It will not guarantee your child will be the next da Vinci, but it will certainly start them down a very unique and artistic path.  Our baby certainly seems to enjoy making her yummy masterpieces and we have pictures and memories to last a lifetime.

Want to see the real Mona Lisa painting in person?  Italian painter, Leonardo da Vinci’s, famous painting entitled Mona Lisa is on permanent display at The Louvre museum in Paris, France.
