I have been spending a lot of my time outside work babywearing my youngest daughter who has issues with reflux. I have learned how to play games with our oldest with the baby strapped to me and I have learned to be creative. We like to do fun little homemade projects that are simple and I have tried to find things that I can try and do one-handed! I saw this Tic-Tac-Toe set stamp activity from Yellow Owl workshop and I thought it was something Brooke and I could do together. The set includes several natural rubber stamps that are mounted on a maple block in a cute little package. The stamps are on a Tic-Tax-Toe grid (2 7/8″x 2 7/8″) and one ‘X’ stamp and one ‘Y’ stamp (both 1″ x 1″) with a red ink pad, instructions with a score card. Not only is it really fun for Brooke to make her own grids and try to win the competition, she loves the ink pad and stampers in general. In fact, we have used this set in a few other ways as suggested and can probably think of a lot more, like:
- Making Personalized Wrapping Paper
- Writing a Letter to Grandma with an XOXO
- Creating Fun Gift Tags
This kit was a great way to have a fun and simple activity for preschoolers. The kit is a wonderful quality and will be sure to outlast many ink pads in the future. Oh, and yes, you can definitely play this and babywear at the same time. No problem.
Another Tip: The included ink can be used on fabric, too!
