Keeping Bathtime Fun!
One of my oldest daughter’s favorite things to do at our local children’s museum is to ‘go fishing’ in their outdoor pond with fake fish and nets. You would think she’s always be that enthused about taking a bath, but some days it is a struggle. I have actively sought out awesome tub toys that get put on a nice rotation and bath time becomes exciting once again. Mommy and daddy like this because the faster the girls go to sleep, well, you know…..we can sleep! Ha. Water play isn’t just about getting kids to bathe, it also has calming and engaging effects that will keep the kids in the tub.
The Tubby Table was created by a mom who had twins and needed bath time to go a little smoother. The Table was very easy to put together and then suctioned to the middle of the tub floor. The table top has a great surface with multiple activities to keep children having fun in their bath. There are five different colored and shaped cups to help with fine motor skills and ways to count, sort, pour and fill. You can easily adjust the height of the table and the product even includes a safety non-skid mat, which I thought was a great touch. Although little sister is a little too young to have play time in the bath with her older sister, it won’t be long and the Tubby Table is able to accommodate two kids in the tub. Awesome! I see many future tub activities on the Tubby Table for years to come. Highly recommended.
