I am a huge lover of maps and I was especially taken with this magnetic travel map where your child can ‘travel’ from state to state with a cool magnetic pencil. It’s great for ages three and up since there are no loose items and the entire map is enclosed. In fact, it is probably one of the best travel toys I have seen since there is nothing you can lose (unless your child chews through string!). One of the games Brooke and I love to play is tracing the states between Texas and Ohio all the way to the grandparent’s house. This map has made it such an easy and fun travel destination. This map also boasts logical thinking, analytical skills and hand-eye coordination, so it’s a perfect tool for preschoolers. There are many routes within the U.S. and this is one fantastic way for our kids to learn how to explore our country!

My daughter would love this! We travel from Tennessee to Michigan to see grandparents! She is always asking “where are we at now?” This would make it so easy to show her and teach her states at the same time! Genius idea!
