You can usually spot an out-of-towner by the way they pronounce local cities and landmarks. If you grew up in SE Ohio, you knew to pronounce the city Lank-as-ter instead of Lan-cas-ter as every other state I have encountered pronounces it in the United States. My first job in Portland was on Swan Island on the Will-Am-Ette River. A little city by Austin is not pronounced like a sage who taught Buddhism, nope, Buda is pronounced Bah-You-Dah! Why am I talking about this little town with a population of less than 2,500? Well, one of the inhabitants invented a cool product for your purse that you might want to know about!
I have an embarrassing mom purse. By that, I mean a clunky bag filled with lots of kid items from band-aids to Boogie Wipes. It’s a downright mess. To say I needed a purse light is probably an understatement. I need a whole team of purse remodelers. Since I’m pretty sure that doesn’t exist and I wouldn’t be able to afford it if they did, I will stick to this really smart and cute invention by a local momma called a Diva Dangle Purse Light. It is a pretty simple yet oh-so-handy little light decorated with adorable colored beads and a trinket of your choice. I chose the Fleur De Lis since I have a French last name (ooh la la) and red beads for my birthstone. Now I can spot those ‘needed’ items that Brooke insists she needs while we are out and about much easier (especially on those DARK mornings) and look stylish doing it! If only it could help me organize my messy purse, too……
