My daughter was a Wee Can Too Art baby at six months. In fact, one of her pictures graced their website at around that age for finger painting on our kitchen floor in little more than a Bumpkins long sleeved bib. Amazingly, Brooke’s love of art has grown so much that I can barely keep up with all her drawings in our new very tight Keepsake Portfolio that I laughingly thought would last until high school. Oops. Start the love of art early. We have certainly benefited from it!
Veggie Tempera Paints by Wee Can Too Art is tempura paints with no hard chemicals for kids with ‘curious mouths’. While a lot of Wee Can Too Art products are 6 months and older, the tempura pants are for 12 months and up. Even thought it contains Natural Fruit Acid it is not recommended for kids younger than one year. The product is still made with the same organic fruit and veggies and although safe to eat, it is not recommended. Just mix the paints with water in a separate container and you can keep this set as long as you like. The set contains the four vibrant colors of Purple, Yellow, Pink and Green and they are quite lively. We love to do finger paintings while sitting on the ground on a splat mat for easy clean up and we always have a blast. I can say now after a few years of using Wee Can Too Art that is has inspired the love of art and creativity in our house and it’s a product we firmly believe in.
