Just like Jay-Z, I have got a Picasso Baby.  Okay, so I may have taken his lyrics completely out of context (yes, I realize he is saying it’s good to have goals and dreams and wanting to be better than the best) but basically I’m saying my older daughter is an art freak.  She doesn’t even seem to have a special medium; she will build and draw in the dirt.  She loves markers, chalk, crayons and paint.  I don’t know if this was because we started her young using plant based paints at six months or because we support and save all her artwork, but she is quite a lovely artist.  She is also quite messy with it when she wants to be and until recently we were using a long sleeved waterproof bib (Bumpkins, check them out!) but she has really outgrown it (ah, the advantages of having a smaller child is you can keep clothes longer than intended).  Plus we now have another little one to pass it down to and the upgrade was finally ready and just in time for the holidays!
