I’ve mentioned the woes of having my then-18 month old refuse sitting in a high chair. We went to strap in booster seats which lasted – oh, all of nine seconds. We made a compromise at getting a kid’s bar stool for Ikea which works out great – at home! Eating out poses another challenge because Brooke is not about to sit in a ‘kid’s chair’. Le sigh. It’s too bad she’s vertically-challenged as a Preschooler.
The Busy Bee Booster Cushion has been the perfect answer to our daughter’s defiant non-baby treatment (her words). The cushion has NO straps (Halleluiah) but with a 4 inch boost for your child to comfortably sit at the grown up table. Other great features: no slip grip on the bottom of the cushion, coated fabric for easy cleaning and a nice foam insert to keep little bottoms comfortable. Oh, it also has a great easy-to-carry handle and comes in quite a universal dimension of 15″ x 15″ x 4″. There are also a lot of cute designs in which to choose, but Busy Bee fabric fits Brooke the best. So far this has been the best investment in a booster/highchair since she received her bells and whistles one at four months. I highly recommend this for those stubborn kids that want to grow up too fast. Sigh!
Here’s hoping our new baby will use her high chair (it really is a nice highchair, I swear!) more than five seconds, but if not, we have a great option!
