Product Review: Christina Marie Pop-In-Kins Fun Set
Celebrating 28 years as Santa’s very first Children’s Elves
Last year I did a review on Christopher Pop-In-Kins, my family’s favorite Christmas elf. It is also an original elf doll concept that made his debut in the marketing world 28 years ago, but was a fixture in the Flora Johnson household since her children were young in the 1960s. As I had explained, this story may have stopped with Flora until one day her grandchild called her so excited to say that an elf had just ‘popped in’ for the holidays and Flora wanted to introduce her tradition to other families around the world. This Dr. Toy Classic Toy introduced a brand-new character in 2010, Christina Pop-In-Kins, Christopher’s sister! You can now purchase fun kits for the holidays for either elf and since we are the parents of little girls you can imagine having a girl elf in for the holidays is a huge success. Christina Marie also has a pet kitten named Mittens (fun Momma’s Bacon fact: our first family cat when I was born was named Mittens!), and as a family of cat-lovers, Mittens also became a loved character in the included book.
Christina Marie Pop-In-Kins Fun Set includes:
- Christina Marie Pop-In-Kins toy with posable arms and legs
- “Christina Marie and the Little Tree” Storybook
- Sturdy Storage Case
Rick, Flora’s son (Flora has sadly passed away), has taken over the business and the Christopher Pop-In-Kins legend lives on as new products and books continue to be added to the catalog. Mittens the Pop-In-Kins Cat is now available for purchase! Keep your eyes and ears open this November because you may just see an elf or two laughing in the distance and have your own chance pop-in meeting!
