When you are as pasty and dry skin prone as my family (and live in Texas), you learn a lot of skin care products that moisten and soothe. I write a lot about them because we use a lot of them! If there is one product I probably have invested the most on over the years, it is skin care based. I can’t help it (I swear!); I want to try them all! I get really excited when one works well and like to share the information. I also love to include lotions and soaps and other skin remedies in gifts and stocking stuffers so I like to search Etsy for interesting buys.
My first real relief during my first pregnancy when my skin was like cracked soil was an oatmeal bath. Now I love them when my skin feels dry and itchy and ran across this interesting blend of skin emergency blend steeping in baths. In one Skin Emergency! Natural Remedy package you get two cotton tea bags of her special oatmeal bath blend to put in your bath and apply to your skin. I don’t know about you but I get especially dry skin in the winter and this is a perfect little gift for my family. Each package is made lovingly by Maria in her Albuquerque, New Mexico home. Check out her shop for more use recommendations (such as burns).
Skin Emergency! only contains:
- Organic colloidal oatmeal (anti-inflammatory properties)
- Organic locally sourced chaparral (anti-oxidant properties)
- Organic lavender (soothe and replenish)
