My mom’s mom was a huge gamer. She would have been the Dungeon Master if D&D was as big as it was later in the years. I learned so many things from playing games with my Grandma Chapman, but the most was probably thinking quickly on my toes with math. Euchre (sorry, all you non-Yankees), Hearts and even games like Touring ended up being a huge indoctrination into mathematics. The nice thing was, I didn’t hate it. I actually loved learning the games and itched to win. Our family, after all, played to win. Koplow Games makes some really cool Spot Word Number since to get kids interested in spots, numbers and words. In fact, they are awesome for games, math activities as well as being easily washable. I can’t promise your child will be a math genius, but this is certainly the right tool for kids on the oath to learning about numbers. Two Thumbs Up!
