Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era. Perhaps growing up in a 60s/70s style home-interior complete with tapestries, incense and record players has me permanently stuck in a happy hippy mode and having a folk guitar playing momma didn’t help things! In any event, I adore vintage styles and designs and when I saw this beautiful memory game from the Swedish designer, Ingela P. Arrenhius, with her 60s style characters I knew I wanted the set – for Brooke, of course!
The Simply titled ‘Memory’ game is complete with 50 cards (25 matches) with throwback flair of illustrations for kids. Yes, this is a UK company and, yes, they will ship from across the pond! There really isn’t much else to say except the game pieces are just gorgeous. I also happen to have a child that loves to organize and memory games are probably her favorite family game now. She may not appreciate the Owl cards as much as I do but she certainly loves to match them together and she is at an age we can play the game for real (no peeking at cards or showing them in advance as you play). Brilliant!
