Fun, imaginative play that is also environmentally friendly?  Sign me up!  As soon as I saw these adorable Peg People made by the talented Holly Cothran of Rome, Georgia I was intrigued by her sets.  I also have a thing for personalization and holiday specific doo-dads, so I was eyeing the Thanksgiving Play Set the most.  It certainly did not disappoint and I love that I will now be able to get this out every year for the Thanksgiving season as yet another Momma’s Bacon family tradition.  The really awesome thing about Holly is that she is all about custom and unique multiple options, so I was able to easily put together a Thanksgiving Peg People gift set with just one male Pilgrim and one male Native American for half the price of the usual four-peg Play Set for Thanksgiving.  Awesome!  All of the peg toys are 4.5″ tall and painted and sealed with non-toxic gloss finish.  They are recommended for children ages three and older and not for children who like to ‘mouth’ items!
