I love children’s literature especially when it inspires young minds. Phaidon is a publishing company of the visual and creative arts. It is easy to see how they fell into doing children’s books and have teamed up with the very talented illustrator and author, Hervé Tullet, on a variety of children’s books. None disappoint, but my family is especially enthralled by his Finger Worm series where your digits literally become the key characters in the books!
The latest book by Tullet is the really fun Finger Worm book called The Finger Circus Game. Parents get involved by drawing little faces on your fingertips and the strategically placed holes throughout this book bring the worms to life. This fun and game-like approach to books makes it enjoyable for both parent and child and helps children expand their imaginations. Inspiration and literature go hand in hand for me and I love to bring that visual beauty and creativity to my kids.
