I first heard about balance bikes when Brooke was around nine months old and we were waiting at the finish line at a bike race for our friend to finish. A mom and her children were talking with us and telling us about how great balance bikes were at teaching very young children how to balance and prepare to ride a bicycle. At the time I thought these hard core cyclists were a little loco. I could not imagine putting my daughter on a bike without pedals at a year old, especially since she seems to have inherited my lack of coordination. However, I have since been a convert to the power of balance bikes and the Chillafish Bunzi is a great gradual way for children to work up to a pedal bike and it is the perfect trainer!
Chillafish Bunzi Gradual Balance Bike is geared for age’s one through three to help teach children how to balance and become future cyclists. The Bunzi can be put into three different specifications depending on the capability of the child. It easily turns from three wheels into two as well as adjusting the seat height (22-25 cm) all without the help of tools. The bike is made with high quality ABS material, has anti-skid TPE wheels (so you can use it indoors or out) as well as a grip handle and storage in the seat. The Bunzi is also very lightweight and easy to take on the go. Your child has control in how fast they want to work their way up to two wheels and is the perfect guide to help them get confidence in their balance ability for future bike riding. Oh, did I mention they also come in four cool colors? It is amazing that just a few years later; a product I thought was for the super crazy cyclist is now something I consider a great and amazing tool for kids to promote step-by-step confidence in their own balance abilities.
