I feel very fortunate to have musical people in my family. I get a lot of great suggestions and most of my friends know me so well, I am always up for their suggestions. More than often they are right. My focus now as a mom of TWO (WOW!) is to really focus on fun family music. When you do it right, it isn’t silly or teeth grinding. In fact, it’s downright enjoyable no matter what your age. Lucky Diaz is not a new band and they, in fact, have several albums on their belt. I actually want to recommend this CD (ok, or downloaded MP3s..I will never grow up, it seems…) because it has a wonderful music and movement element to it and the toe tapping music is great for kids who want to learn lyrics and love to dance. This real life husband and wife team love making family oriented music and it shows. Their live shows are fun, entertaining and get the whole audience dancing. What a great feeling! Music should be shared and appreciated and from my own experience, the more you include your child, especially at an earlier age, the more interest they have in pursuing a lifelong musical hobby or even dream. Now that is a beautiful music to my ears!
