Scholastic Storybook Treasures: Mo Willems Cartoon Series DVD Vol. 3 (Geared for Ages 2-6)
Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late….and More Stories from Mo Willems
First, I have to say we are huge Mo Willems fans in our household. The first children’s book of his we read was ‘Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus’ and we love to read his latest books. We love his funny animation and silly stories that are perfect for small children. I am happy to report that we got to check out the latest Mo Williams Cartoon Series DVD from Scholastic Storybook Treasure – oh happy day! The DVD is brilliantly narrated by Cher Willems, John Scieszka and Mo Willems, Nice touch!
The Scholastic Storybook Treasures series is geared towards toddlers and preschoolers who are starting to learn to read. Scholastic Storybook Treasures take favorite Scholastic books throughout the last few years and your child gets to see the illustrations and words on the bottom of the screen while watching as a Read-Along. This DVD collection is Volume Three in the special Mo Willems set and is the latest release (August 27, 2013) that was put together to include stories to help foster creativity and learning in kids.
Mo Willems DVD includes the books:
- Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late
- Knuffle Bunny Free: An Unexpected Diversion
- Edwina, the Dinosaur Who Didn’t Know She Was Extinct
Bonus! This collection also has DVD Features that includes a Read-Along Function (which we love), an interview with Mo Willems and a recipe for Edwina’s chocolate chip cookies. I thought it was fun to watch.

Thanks for sharing this! My kiddos love the “Pigeon books”! We found them at the library and have loved Mo Willems since!
I’ve never heard of Pigeon books – my DD is 18 months old so I anticipate her being in the age range where this is great 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
